Whitechapel Charlotte Concert reviews
Kenny Wayne Shepherd was Awesome!
I was very pleased and surprised to find we were seated in the third row from the stage at Meadowbrook. Meadowbrook is beautiful and has very helpful employees. Surprised to see you can get food and drink there (but it is a bit pricey).
Never been that close at a Kenny Wayne Shepherd concert before. I didn't exactly know where our seats were located because it was hard to tell from the website. Meadowbrook's website said "No recording devices" so I didn't bring my camera, seems like everyone else did.
But still, he played some new and old blues songs and two Jimi Hendrix songs. Dang! I could have taken some great pictures. I sang my voice raw for the whole set.
Old Whitechapel is very full of himself and doesn't play that much. Whitechapel should have opened for Kenny Wayne Shepherd. The band carried him. Lots of people left before his set was over.
